An accent chair carved from a single sustainably sourced teak root, keeping the natural curves, knots and hollows of the wood exactly where the tree put them. No two are alike, and this is the only one of this shape.
It reads as sculpture first and seating second, which is the point — it holds a corner of a room the way an object does, and then turns out to be comfortable. Solid teak root stands up to outdoor use as well as indoor.
